MySentiMap is a prediction game built on one thing: a community whose calls you can trust to be genuine. These guidelines keep the leaderboard meaningful and the platform a good place to be. They form part of our Terms & Conditions (see sections 7–8).
1. Predict honestly
- Make predictions you actually believe in. The platform exists to measure genuine community sentiment.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts, shared accounts, or accounts used to farm XP, Ticks, streaks, or competition placements will be removed.
- No bots, scripts, or automated submission of predictions or game plays.
- Don't coordinate with other users to distort sentiment readings, leaderboards, or competition results.
2. Never give (or solicit) financial advice
MySentiMap is entertainment — and that applies to users too, not just us.
- Don't present your predictions, reasoning, or comments as financial advice or investment recommendations to other users.
- Don't use the platform to promote financial products, trading services, courses, signal groups, or "guaranteed" strategies.
- Don't use the platform to coordinate or encourage buying or selling of any security ("pumping" a stock you hold, organising group buys, spreading false or misleading claims about a company). This can constitute market manipulation, which is a criminal offence in Australia and most jurisdictions.
3. Keep content civil
Usernames, bios, prediction reasoning, competition names, and anything else you write on the platform must not contain:
- Harassment, abuse, threats, or personal attacks on other users or anyone else (including company directors and public figures)
- Hate speech or discrimination of any kind
- Sexually explicit content, or content that is illegal in Australia
- Other people's personal information (doxxing)
- Impersonation of other users, MySentiMap staff, companies, or public figures
- Spam, advertising, referral links, or off-platform promotion
4. Play competitions fairly
- No exploiting bugs to gain points, XP, Ticks, lives, or placements. Found a bug? Report it to [email protected] — we'd genuinely rather reward you than ban you.
- No colluding in head-to-head duels or competitions (e.g. deliberately throwing matches between your own or friends' accounts).
- Private competition invite codes are for your group — don't sell or publicly farm them.
5. How we enforce these guidelines
We aim to be proportionate. Depending on severity, we may:
- Warn you — most first, minor breaches get a warning and a chance to fix it
- Remove content — offending usernames, bios, or reasoning may be edited or removed
- Reset gains — points, XP, Ticks, streaks, or placements obtained through cheating will be reversed
- Restrict or suspend — temporary loss of competition, duel, or social features
- Terminate — serious or repeated breaches (especially market manipulation, harassment, or multi-accounting) result in permanent account termination per section 14 of the Terms
We reserve the right to act immediately and without prior warning where conduct is severe, unlawful, or harms other users or the integrity of the platform.
6. Reporting
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, email [email protected] with the username and a short description (a screenshot helps). Reports are confidential — we don't tell anyone who reported them. We aim to review all reports within 2 business days.
